Daniel Lanois - Lotta Love To Give

With a few albums of his own, Canadian producer/singer/songwriter Daniel is better known for his production work, but his songs deserve a good listen. Moody and melodic, he often reflects the sound of the artists he has worked with. Some of the names for whom he has produced albums include Peter Gabriel, U2, Brian Eno, Robbie Robertson and Sinéad O'Connor. In most cases, his participation gave us some of the best albums from these artists.

Of his albums, although I liked the moods of Shine, the diversity of For the Beauty of Wynona makes it my favourite.
