Sophie Milman, Russian-born, lives in Montreal and incredibly beautiful! But much more, one of the most beautiful voices in music these days. Imagine all the great divas crammed into a single voice, and with soul! She won 2008 Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year for "Make Someone Happy".
The song I'm posting is from her latest album "Take Love Easy". Again, I'm going on a ledge and not posting a song outside of what you'd expect. No, not a jazz song, a little more mainstream, but one where her soul can be felt.
